Associated Content is a great place to get a start as a freelance writer looking to work from home.  Sign up, learn about writing web content, and make some money, too!  Registration is free, and you will be paid for your articles plus performance bonuses (based on how many times your article is read).  Be sure to check out AC101 to learn how the site works, what the earning potential is, and how to get started writing what you already know for Associated Content!

My advice to those starting out at AssociatedContent is to use the site to earn some fast cash, get your web content writing feet wet, learn a bit about the biz and then move on to bigger and better things.  To be sure, there is more money to be made by writing at home and working online than what's offered at AC, but overall, this is a very good place to start and Earn While You Learn!  Of course, there are a number of people who have made AssociatedContent their main source of writing income, without the hassles of clients and deadlines.

 v    Constant-Content:

Constant Content is a very good resource for people who like to write and need a way to get their articles to potential buyers.  Here's how CC works (basically): 

·         Register at Constant Content as an author—registration is free!

·         Write an article on a subject you know or enjoy

·         Submit to the editors for approval

·         Wait for your articles to sell! 

You get to set the price for your work and choose the rights that will sell (and all the information you need is available right there on Constant Content).  It costs you nothing—the site only gets paid if you do.

ConstantContent is a good place for both novice and established writers.  If you've already written artices that haven't sold, post them on ConstantContent and see if the right buyer doesn't come along!  There's much more potential for a sale on ConstantContent than on your hard drive! New writers will find the resources, forums, and information available at CC to be very helpful.

When I started to work at home as a freelance copywriter, I submitted to both Associated Content and Constant Content.  I made some very nice supplemental income at each site, and made some great contacts for future work; even better, I learned what I needed to know to move on and be an independent freelance writer.

It's worth noting, too, that these sites are good places for anyone looking to work at home to get a start, especially if (like the rest of us) you need money now!  Submit to these sites and earn as you go until you settle into the right online job/work from home job or career for you!
